tightvnc-java (1.3.10-5) unstable; urgency=medium

Debian 14 "forky" is expected to be the last release supporting Java
applets (via java-common and OpenJDK 25). The applet API has been removed
from OpenJDK 26 and above. As the tighvnc-java package depends on this API
to provide the vncviewer functionality, even for running jtightvncviewer
from command line, it is as good as certain it needs to be dropped from
    Debian 15 "duke".

Therefore, please consider picking a different VNC viewer, tigervnc-viewer
or remmina might by a suitable choice.

tightvnc-java (1.3.10-1) unstable; urgency=medium

The oldest Java version supported by the viewer applet is 6 now. This
is so due to limitations of OpenJDK 11 which does not support to build
classes for an older target version.

The entry point class name has changed from VncViewer to
tightvncviewer.VncViewer. This is important for people immediately
using the jar file itself. For regular users of the applet by means of
the tightvncserver or the command line program everything is already
    covered by the package.
